Funding from the Albert George and Nancy Caroline Longman Trust, managed by the Equity Trustees, the Enkalon Foundation and NIEA, has enabled the charity to totally refurbish the cottage, creating a modern facility for 'live-in' volunteers and making Portmore Lough the first all-year residential volunteering scheme in Northern Ireland.

The cottage can accommodate three volunteers at any one time on
placements lasting anything from two weeks to six months and the charity
is on the lookout for enthusiastic people who relish a challenge.
